“Cinderella” Star Lily James Meets Students in Siem Reap
SIEM REAP, April 5 2026— British actress Lily James, best known for her role in the film Cinderella, visited a secondary school in Cambodia’s Siem Reap province, where she engaged with students and highlighted the importance of education.
According to the Ministry of Education Youth and Sport, Lily James was warmly welcomed at Hun Sen Rolous Secondary School by students and teachers during her visit.
The actress, who also serves as a UNICEF ambassador, took part in traditional Khmer games with students, drawing enthusiasm from those attending the event.
Officials said the visit helped boost student morale while showcasing the actress’s interest in Cambodia’s education sector and youth development.
The ministry described the engagement as a meaningful cultural exchange, reflecting growing international attention on education and opportunities for young people in Cambodia.
