BREAKING: Thai F-16 Fighter Jets Bomb Cambodian Territory in Banteay Meanchey

Phnom Penh, 10 December 2025 — The Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia has issued an urgent statement informing the public and international community of serious military incidents along the Cambodia–Thailand border on the morning of 10 December 2025.
According to the official release, at approximately 09:45 a.m., Thai military F-16 fighter jets crossed into Cambodian airspace, flying over O’ Bei Chon Commune and Poipet in Banteay Meanchey Province.
At 09:50 a.m., Thai F-16 aircraft conducted repeated flights over the Stung Bot roundabout in Poipet, before carrying out a direct aerial bombardment, dropping two bombs on Slor Kram village, Slor Kram Commune, Svay Chek District, Banteay Meanchey Province.
The Ministry condemned these actions as a serious violation of Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, stressing that such acts pose grave risks to civilian lives, regional peace, and stability.
The Cambodian authorities confirmed that further verified information will be released as the situation develops.
