Cambodia and Thailand Continue GBC Secretariat Discussions to Strengthen Ceasefire Implementation

(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — 21 October 2025): On the second day of the General Border Committee (GBC) Secretariat Meeting, the Cambodian and Thai secretariat teams continued their in-depth discussions aimed at enhancing the effectiveness, mutual trust, and confidence in the implementation of the ceasefire agreement between the two sides.

The ongoing deliberations reflect the shared commitment of both parties to maintain peace, stability, and cooperation along the Cambodia–Thailand border through dialogue and coordination under the established bilateral mechanisms.

It is noteworthy that this GBC Secretariat Meeting serves as a preparatory session for the 2nd Special Cambodia–Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) Meeting, which is scheduled to take place on 23 October 2025.
