(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – 22 October 2025) — The General Border Committee (GBC) Secretariat Meeting between Cambodia and Thailand continued into its third day this morning, beginning at 09:00 a.m. in Kuala Lumpur.

As of today, both Secretariat teams are engaged in in-depth discussions on key working documents aimed at enhancing the effectiveness, mutual trust, and confidence-building measures in the implementation of the ceasefire agreement between the two sides.

It is noteworthy that this GBC Secretariat Meeting is being held in preparation for the upcoming 2nd Special Cambodia–Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) Meeting, scheduled to take place tomorrow, 23 October 2025.

The ongoing deliberations underscore the shared commitment of both nations to maintain peace, stability, and cooperation along the border through dialogue and established bilateral mechanisms.
