PHNOM PENH, Jan 16, 2026 — Cambodia will grant visa-free entry to Chinese tourists for a four-month period from June 15, allowing stays of up to 14 days, the Ministry of Tourism said on Wednesday.

The exemption will apply to holders of People’s Republic of China passports, including those from mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau, and will run until Oct. 15, 2026, according to the statement.

Chinese visitors will not be required to apply for a visa or pay any fees, provided they complete Cambodia’s E-Arrival Card, and may enter the country multiple times during the period. Taiwan passport holders are excluded.

The measure, approved by Prime Minister Hun Manet, is aimed at boosting tourism from China, one of Cambodia’s key source markets.
