Cambodia Welcomes Gaza Peace Agreement, Reaffirms Support for Two-State Solution
Phnom Penh, 17 October 2025 — The Kingdom of Cambodia has warmly welcomed the signing of the Peace Agreement in Gaza on 13 October 2025 in Egypt, marking a significant milestone toward restoring peace and stability in the region.
The historic agreement was signed by President Donald J. Trump of the United States of America, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani of the State of Qatar, and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of the Republic of Türkiye.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Cambodia commended the leadership of U.S. President Donald J. Trump and all mediators for their tireless efforts in achieving this crucial outcome. The Kingdom expressed hope that the Peace Agreement will pave the way for lasting peace and a return to normalcy for both sides.
Reaffirming its principled stance, Cambodia reiterated its support for the two-state solution, encouraging all parties to continue pursuing dialogue in line with relevant United Nations resolutions and international law.
