Phnom Penh, 14 November 2025 — Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and the first lady Dr. Pich Chanmony visited the three Cambodian civilians who were injured during the Thai military’s shooting incident in Prey Chan village on the afternoon of 12 November 2025.

According to information released on social media on 14 November, the three victims were initially rushed to the Cambodia–Japan Friendship Provincial Hospital in Mongkol Borei, Banteay Meanchey Province, where doctors successfully performed life-saving surgery. They were later transferred to Calmette Hospital in Phnom Penh for further treatment and recovery.

Prime Minister Hun Manet expressed sincere gratitude to local authorities and security forces for their swift intervention, rapid medical evacuation, and timely coordination in ensuring that the victims received immediate and appropriate medical care.

He also extended appreciation to the medical teams and health personnel at the Cambodia–Japan Friendship Hospital for their professionalism and dedication in performing the emergency surgeries that saved the lives of the three innocent civilians.

The Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes for the full and speedy recovery of all injured citizens currently receiving medical treatment.

On this occasion, Samdech Thipadei also offered renewed condolences to the family of Dii Nai (ឌី ណៃ), the Cambodian civilian who tragically lost his life in the same shooting incident. He prayed that the departed soul may rest peacefully.

The Royal Government of Cambodia reaffirmed its principled position of resolving all border-related issues through peaceful means, emphasizing that the use of violence or armed force brings no benefit, creates no positive outcome, and only increases danger to the lives and property of innocent civilians.
