Cambodian Spirit Shines: Stadium Campaign Collects Toys for Displaced Children
Phnom Penh (AKP), 27 December 2025 — In a remarkable show of national solidarity, tens of thousands of spectators attending the football match between Boeung Ket Club and Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng Club at the Olympic Stadium, Phnom Penh, participated in a unique humanitarian campaign.
Fans brought toys to the stadium and threw them onto the field, where they were collected by organizers. The toys will be distributed to Cambodian children displaced by recent conflicts, providing comfort and support to those living in temporary shelters.
