PHNOM PENH, March 10, 2026 — Cambodia’s total trade with international markets reached more than $11 billion in the first two months of 2026, marking a 17.6% increase year-on-year, according to official customs data released on Tuesday.

The General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE) said Cambodia recorded $5.23 billion in exports during January–February, up 17.2% compared with the same period last year.

Imports totaled $5.89 billion, representing an 18% increase from the same period in 2025.

China remained Cambodia’s largest trading partner, with bilateral trade reaching about $3.58 billion during the period. Cambodian exports to China totaled around $295 million, while imports from China reached approximately $3.28 billion.

The United States ranked as Cambodia’s second-largest trading partner, with total trade exceeding $2.34 billion, a sharp 39.9% increase year-on-year.

Cambodia exported $2.26 billion worth of goods to the United States, while imports from the U.S. totaled more than $80 million.

The customs report also showed strong trade growth with other key partners, including Vietnam, Japan, Canada, Spain, Indonesia and the United Kingdom, reflecting continued expansion in Cambodia’s international trade.

Officials said the data highlights the country’s growing integration with global markets and sustained export demand despite global economic uncertainties.
