Phnom Penh, Feb. 14, 2026 — Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet will travel to the United States next week to attend the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace before continuing on an official visit to Europe, the foreign ministry said on Saturday.
Hun Manet will lead a high-level delegation to Washington, D.C., to attend the Feb. 19 meeting at the United States Institute of Peace, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The meeting marks the formal commencement of the Board’s mandate under a United Nations Security Council resolution adopted in November 2025 aimed at promoting peace and supporting reconstruction efforts in Gaza.
During his stay in Washington, Hun Manet is expected to hold bilateral talks with U.S. officials and other international leaders to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across various sectors.
The prime minister will also visit Europe, including Geneva and Brussels, where he is scheduled to meet senior leaders and stakeholders to further enhance partnerships and collaboration, the statement said.
