Hun Manet Visits Wounded Soldiers and Police, Reaffirms National Gratitude

Phnom Penh, 30 December 2025 — Today, accompanied by his spouse, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, paid visits to wounded members of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and National Police who sustained injuries on the battlefield and are currently receiving continued medical treatment at hospitals in the capital, Phnom Penh.

During the visit, the leader conveyed profound gratitude and high appreciation for the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering patriotism demonstrated by Cambodian soldiers and police officers who bravely fulfilled their sacred duty to defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He extended heartfelt wishes for the swift recovery and restored strength of all injured service members, expressing hope that they would soon regain full health, enabling them to return both to their professional duties and to their families and homes.

On this occasion, sincere appreciation was also conveyed to all competent authorities and relevant institutions involved in the response and care process. Special recognition was given to doctors, nurses, and healthcare personnel whose dedication, professionalism, and compassion ensured the safe evacuation, transportation, and continuous treatment of the wounded—from local medical facilities in the provinces to referral hospitals in Phnom Penh.

The visit underscored the Royal Government of Cambodia’s firm commitment to honoring the sacrifices of its security forces, ensuring their welfare, and upholding national unity and solidarity during this critical period.
