Bangkok, 8 December 2025 — Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, announced on Monday afternoon the suspension of all negotiation channels with Cambodia, declaring that bilateral dialogue mechanisms are now closed.

In his statement, Anutin Charnvirakul said he no longer considers the involvement of Donald Trump or Anwar Ibrahim in the current situation, stressing that the matter is strictly a bilateral issue between Thailand and what he described as its “adversary.”

He further dismissed concerns over potential implications related to U.S. tariffs and stated that the existing joint declaration between the two countries is now regarded by Thailand as null and void.

The announcement marks a significant escalation in diplomatic tensions, raising serious regional and international concern over the future of dialogue, stability, and peaceful conflict resolution in the region.
