Scandal Erupts as Chinese Models Found in High-Security Thai Jail

Bangkok, 26 November 2025 — Thai authorities have launched a high-level investigation following the discovery of two Chinese women inside Bangkok Remand Prison under circumstances that have raised serious allegations of misconduct and corruption within the correctional system.

According to an official statement from the Minister of Justice of the Kingdom of Thailand, law enforcement officers uncovered the two individuals — described as Chinese fashion models — accommodated in a room situated directly beneath the office of the prison’s director. Preliminary findings suggest the women were illicitly brought into the facility to provide sexual services to detained Chinese nationals.

Reports indicate that approximately 7 million baht was allegedly paid to enable their entry into the prison premises, prompting scrutiny of potential criminal networks and complicity among officials.
