KOH KONG, April 6, 2026 — Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Tea Seiha visited frontline troops stationed along the Cambodia–Thailand border on Monday, offering encouragement and New Year greetings as soldiers continue to safeguard territorial integrity.

During the visit to Military Region 3 in Koh Kong province, Tea Seiha met with troops deployed along the frontier, where units remain on duty amid ongoing sensitivities in border areas.

He praised the soldiers for their dedication and described their mission as vital to protecting Cambodia’s sovereignty and maintaining stability.

The visit comes ahead of the upcoming Khmer New Year, one of the country’s most important annual celebrations.

Tea Seiha also extended well wishes to officers and personnel serving across the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, expressing hope for continued success in their duties and for peace and prosperity nationwide.

Cambodia has reiterated that its forces remain committed to discipline and restraint while ensuring the protection of national territory along the border.
