Thai Attacks Kill 9, Including Infant, Injure Dozens in Cambodia

Phnom Penh, 10 December 2025 — H.E. Neth Pheaktra, Minister of Information of the Kingdom of Cambodia, announced that as of 12:00 noon on 10 December 2025, armed attacks by Thai military forces against Cambodia have resulted in nine civilian fatalities, including one infant, and 46 additional innocent civilians injured.

He further reported that the hostilities have forced the displacement of 37,115 Cambodian families, equivalent to 127,133 individuals, including 58,603 women and 21,974 children, across the provinces of Preah Vihear, Oddar Meanchey, Banteay Meanchey, Pursat, and Battambang.

The Royal Government of Cambodia continues to prioritize the protection of civilians and to coordinate humanitarian assistance for affected communities in accordance with national responsibilities and international humanitarian principles.
