Thai PM Rejects Rumors of Negotiations Over No-Confidence Motion Thailand’s Prime Minister and Interior Minister, H.E. Anutin Charnvirakul

Bangkok, 2 December 2025 – Thailand’s Prime Minister and Interior Minister, H.E. Anutin Charnvirakul, confirmed on Monday that the dissolution of Parliament will take place no later than 31 January 2026, in accordance with political developments and the constitutional timeline.

Speaking to the media, Prime Minister Anutin underscored that the current administration is fully aware of its mandated timeline and has no intention of extending its tenure beyond what is constitutionally allowed.

Responding to recent speculation that the government may have requested the Pheu Thai Party to postpone the filing of a no-confidence motion until after the third reading of the constitutional amendment, the Prime Minister firmly dismissed such claims. He clarified that no discussions have taken place with executives of any political party on this matter.

Prime Minister Anutin also addressed criticism surrounding the government’s response to severe flooding in Hat Yai, stating that all necessary and appropriate measures have been implemented to support affected communities and ensure public safety. He rejected claims of mismanagement, emphasizing that the government’s actions have been both timely and responsible.

The Prime Minister reiterated the administration’s commitment to maintaining political stability and ensuring an orderly transition as Thailand approaches its next electoral phase.
