PATTAYA, April 12, 2026 — A 37-year-old Thai woman died after falling from a condominium in Pattaya late on Saturday, with police investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The victim, identified as Chamaiporn Kueasirikiat from Rayong province, was found unresponsive on the ground beside a 21-storey residential building in the Na Kluea area of Bang Lamung district, Chon Buri province.

Police said they were alerted at around 22:35 and discovered the woman with multiple injuries consistent with a fall from height. Initial findings suggest she fell from the 14th floor, where a pair of sandals believed to belong to her was located.

Authorities have not yet determined whether the fall was accidental, self-inflicted or the result of foul play.

A 65-year-old Italian man, identified as Gabellini, told investigators he had seen the woman earlier before returning to his room on the 20th floor. He later came to identify the body and denied any involvement.

Residents said the pair were acquainted, with the woman living on a lower floor. They added that she was known to keep to herself and had reportedly struggled with depression.

Forensic officers are examining injuries and evidence from the scene, while the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

Police from Bang Lamung station are reviewing CCTV footage and gathering witness statements. Authorities said conclusions will depend on forensic results and the ongoing investigation.
