Thailand Tops 2026 Infidelity Ranking at 51%

Bangkok, September 1, 2026 — Thailand has ranked first in a 2026 global infidelity ranking, with 51% of respondents reported as having admitted to cheating on their partners, according to data presented by the Bangkok Post and sourced from World Population Review.

The ranking places Thailand at No. 1, ahead of Denmark at 46%, Germany and Italy at 45%, France at 43%, and Norway at 41%. Belgium, Spain, the United Kingdom and Canada complete the top 10, at 40%, 39%, 36% and 36%, respectively.

According to World Population Review, the 51% figure shown for Thailand comes from BedBible’s 2022 data, rather than a survey conducted in 2026. The database brings together figures from different sources and years, including BedBible (2022), OnBuy/Outrage Mag (2020) and Daylove (2017).

The data therefore should not be interpreted as meaning that 51% of all Thai people are currently unfaithful. Rather, it represents the percentage reported by the particular underlying survey. World Population Review also notes that definitions and attitudes toward infidelity vary between societies, which can affect comparisons between countries.

Thailand’s position is nevertheless striking: the 51% figure is five percentage points higher than Denmark, the second-ranked country, and six points higher than Germany and Italy.
