(Chanthaburi, Thailand — 21 October 2025): The Plenary Session of the Cambodia–Thailand Joint Boundary Commission (JBC) officially commenced at 12:12 p.m. on 21 October 2025 in Chanthaburi Province, Thailand, with the Thai side serving as host for the two-day meeting, held from 21–22 October 2025.

The Cambodian delegation is led by H.E. Lam Chea, Minister attached to the Prime Minister, Secretary of State of the State Secretariat of Border Affairs, and Chair of the Cambodian side of the JBC. The delegation comprises representatives from relevant ministries and border provinces of Cambodia.

The Thai delegation is headed by H.E. Prasas Prasasvinitchai, Adviser to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Chair of the Thai side of the JBC, accompanied by other senior officials and technical experts.

The Plenary JBC Meeting serves as a crucial platform for both sides to review progress, discuss technical and legal aspects of land boundary matters, and promote continued cooperation in a spirit of friendship, mutual respect, and peaceful dialogue.

The meeting reflects the shared commitment of Cambodia and Thailand to strengthen bilateral relations and advance the resolution of boundary issues in accordance with international law and relevant bilateral mechanisms.
