Vietnam’s Prime Minister Arrives in Cambodia for Two-Day Official Visit
PHNOM PENH, October 9, 2026 — Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung arrived in Cambodia on Friday for a two-day official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the neighbouring countries.
Le Minh Hung and his delegation arrived at Techo International Airport at approximately noon aboard a special aircraft, following an invitation from Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet.
The Vietnamese delegation was welcomed by Bin Trach, Cambodia’s Minister of Planning and accompanying minister, along with Ung Rachana, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Touch Sopharath, Cambodia’s ambassador to Vietnam.
Other Cambodian officials also attended the welcoming ceremony at the airport.
The two-day visit underscores continued diplomatic engagement between Cambodia and Vietnam, neighbouring countries with longstanding political, economic and people-to-people ties.
