Phnom Penh, 14 November 2025 — Prime Minister Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet spoke by telephone this afternoon with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, focusing on ongoing efforts to secure a peaceful resolution to the Cambodia–Thailand border conflict.

During the discussion, Prime Minister Hun Manet expressed deep appreciation for Malaysia’s continued leadership and active role in facilitating dialogue between the two neighbours, noting that Malaysia remains a key partner in steering the process toward de-escalation.

The Cambodian Prime Minister reaffirmed Cambodia’s firm commitment to resolving the dispute strictly through peaceful means and established mechanisms, underscoring the importance of adhering to the principles of the Kuala Lumpur Joint Declaration of 26 October 2025. He stressed that Cambodia remains fully dedicated to ending the conflict and restoring stability and peace along the shared border.
