BANGKOK, October 29, 2026 — Thai police are pursuing legal action against two Singaporean men and three Thai nationals over an alleged online prostitution network accused of recruiting Thai women to work in Singapore.

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) said operations in Rayong and Phitsanulok followed intelligence provided by the Singapore Police Force’s Criminal Investigation Department Specialised Crime Branch.

The alleged network, known as Lover’s Fortress, is suspected of recruiting women for prostitution in Singapore and managing customers through online platforms.

Four suspects were named in Criminal Court arrest warrants, while a 35-year-old Thai man was summoned by investigators to acknowledge charges.

Singapore Intelligence Leads to Financial Investigation

Police said investigators examined bank transactions allegedly linked to prostitution earnings, traced individuals suspected of involvement and obtained arrest warrants.

During the operations, officers seized assets and equipment valued at more than 350,000 baht, including 15 mobile phones, three computers and laptops, 16 bank passbooks, 10 ATM cards, 100,000 baht in cash and jewellery.

The five suspects identified by police are:

  1. A 46-year-old Singaporean man identified as L, named in Criminal Court warrant No. 5397/2569.
  2. A 37-year-old Thai woman, named in warrant No. 5398/2569.
  3. A 33-year-old Thai woman, named in warrant No. 5399/2569.
  4. A 35-year-old Thai man, summoned to acknowledge charges.
  5. A 42-year-old Singaporean man identified as A, named in warrant No. 6157/2569.

Multiple Charges Include Human Trafficking-Related Offences and Money Laundering

Police listed allegations including recruiting or taking women for indecent acts or prostitution, regardless of whether they consented and whether the alleged conduct took place inside or outside Thailand.

Other charges include facilitating, protecting, advertising, soliciting or arranging prostitution; receiving financial benefits from another person’s prostitution; conspiracy to commit money laundering; money laundering; and participation in a transnational criminal organisation.

Suspects Describe Alleged Roles in the Network

According to police, L admitted during initial questioning that he had recruited Thai women for prostitution in Singapore since 2019. He identified A as his business partner and said Telegram, LINE and WhatsApp were used to communicate with customers.

The 37-year-old Thai woman reportedly told investigators that she created online storefronts, found customers and coordinated with agencies and accommodation providers.

Police said the 33-year-old Thai woman acknowledged lending her bank account but claimed she did not know how it would be used.

The 35-year-old Thai man reportedly admitted working as an administrator, responding to customer enquiries and editing photographs of women under the instructions of the 37-year-old woman.

Investigations are continuing to establish the full extent of the alleged network and the involvement of each suspect.
