PHNOM PENH, Jan 19, 2026 — Cambodia has been ranked 13th among the world’s best cultural destinations for 2026 by TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards, with Siem Reap singled out for its rich heritage and cultural appeal.

The annual ranking placed Singapore, London and Paris at the top of the list, while Thailand did not feature among the top 25 destinations, according to the published results.

Tourism officials and observers say the ranking underscores Cambodia’s growing global profile as a cultural destination, anchored by the Angkor temple complex and the country’s living traditions, at a time when competition for post-pandemic tourism recovery is intensifying across the region.
