Phnom Penh, Feb. 11, 2026 — Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister Aun Pornmoniroth on Monday welcomed additional assistance from development partners to support the country’s medium- and long-term development agenda.

Speaking during a meeting with Vladanka Andreeva at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Pornmoniroth said Cambodia valued continued cooperation with the United Nations and other partners to address urgent humanitarian needs and sustain long-term growth.

He outlined government measures under social protection programs and emergency response frameworks to support more than 4,000 displaced families who have yet to return home, as well as over one million Cambodian workers who recently returned from Thailand.

The government is converting camps into temporary shelters, restoring damaged infrastructure and expanding job-matching, up-skilling and small business support programs, he said.

Pornmoniroth welcomed new humanitarian grants from China and the Asian Development Bank for reconstruction.

He also called on the United Nations Development Programme to continue supporting Cambodia’s graduation from least developed country status, strengthening social protection systems and mobilizing financing to achieve long-term development goals.

Andreeva reaffirmed the UN’s commitment to supporting Cambodia’s recovery and development agenda.
