BANGKOK, June 1, 2026 — A 26-year-old Thai woman died after falling from the fourth floor of a condominium in Bangkok early Sunday morning, prompting an ongoing police investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Police from Bang Khen Police Station were alerted to the incident at around 2:00 a.m. after receiving reports that a woman had fallen from an upper floor of an eight-storey residential building.

Emergency personnel from the Erawan Medical Emergency Centre and the Ruamkatanyu Foundation arrived at the scene and found the woman unconscious with severe injuries. Rescue workers performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation for approximately 30 minutes, but she could not be revived and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim, identified only as Ms. A, was believed to have fallen from a fourth-floor room, a height of about 10 metres. Forensic officers and medical personnel conducted an examination of the scene as part of the investigation.

According to investigators, the woman worked in the entertainment industry and had been living with her 24-year-old Taiwanese partner at the condominium for around two months.

Police said preliminary findings indicate the couple had an argument shortly before the incident. Investigators reported that the partner had been speaking on the phone with a friend when a dispute occurred. The woman later went into a bedroom and locked the door, preventing her partner from entering.

Authorities said they are continuing to question witnesses, interview the partner and review security camera footage from the building. Police have not yet determined the exact cause of the fall and said all possibilities remain under investigation.

The body has been transferred to the forensic department of Bhumibol Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Officials said relatives will be contacted to make funeral arrangements.

Police emphasized that the investigation remains ongoing and that conclusions will be based on forensic findings, witness statements and available evidence.
