Cambodia’s Trade Surpasses USD 65 Billion in 2025, Up Nearly 18%
Phnom Penh, 8 January 2026 — Cambodia recorded total trade exceeding USD 65.24 billion in 2025, marking a 17.66% year-on-year increase, despite ongoing global economic uncertainty, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
Ministry spokesperson H.E. Pen Sovicheat, Secretary of State, stated that exports reached USD 31.28 billion, up 16.95%, while imports rose to USD 33.96 billion, an increase of 18.32%. The growth reflects Cambodia’s ability to sustain key global markets, strengthen its position within international supply chains, and maintain buyer confidence.
Speaking at the Ministry’s 2025 Trade Performance Review and 2026 Outlook Conference on 8 January, H.E. Pen Sovicheat emphasized that Cambodia continues to expand its export capacity and global integration.
Cambodia’s major export destinations include ASEAN, Australia, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, New Zealand, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, and India.
Key export products include garments, textiles, footwear, travel goods and bags, tires, cashew nuts, rice, cassava, and electronic components and automotive parts.
