PATTAYA, April 14, 2026 — A Russian woman was seriously injured after falling from the fourth floor of an apartment building in Pattaya early on Monday, police said.

The victim, identified as Murtazina Galina, 52, fell from a building in the Naklua area of Bang Lamung district, landing on the roof of a parked vehicle.

Emergency responders said the impact caused significant damage to the vehicle, a Toyota Alphard van, before the woman was given first aid at the scene and transported to hospital.

Police were alerted to the incident at around 05:40 local time. A building caretaker told authorities he heard a loud noise and later found the woman lying on top of the vehicle.

Initial checks confirmed she had been staying in a fourth-floor room in the apartment.

Investigators have not yet determined whether the fall was accidental or involved other factors. Police are reviewing CCTV footage and collecting witness statements as part of the inquiry.

Authorities said further updates would depend on the outcome of the investigation, which remains ongoing.
