PHNOM PENH, May 30, 2026 — Cambodia’s Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training said more than 91,000 job vacancies are currently available nationwide, offering employment opportunities for former migrant workers returning from Thailand and other job seekers.

According to the ministry, a total of 91,215 positions were available across Cambodia as of May 30, spanning key sectors including agriculture, industry and services.

The ministry said the vacancies are distributed across provinces and the capital, with employers actively seeking workers to fill positions in factories, enterprises and agricultural operations.

Officials encouraged returning Cambodian workers from Thailand to take advantage of the available opportunities and consult detailed job listings published by the ministry, which include information on employers, locations and contact details.

In addition to applying directly with companies and factories, job seekers can also contact the ministry’s employment hotline, 1297, for assistance in finding suitable work and receiving employment guidance.

The announcement comes as Cambodian authorities continue efforts to facilitate employment opportunities for returning migrant workers and strengthen the domestic labour market through expanded recruitment and job-matching services.

Labour officials said the available positions cover a broad range of skill levels and occupations, aimed at supporting workforce reintegration while meeting labour demand across key sectors of the economy.
