Cambodia-US Trade Surges 31.4% to Over $7.4 Billion in First Half of 2026
PHNOM PENH, 14 July 2026 — Trade between Cambodia and the United States continued to record strong growth in the first half of 2026, reaching more than $7.4 billion, an increase of 31.4% compared with the same period last year.
According to data from Cambodia’s General Department of Customs and Excise, the United States remained Cambodia’s largest export market during the first six months of the year, highlighting its importance to the Kingdom’s international trade.
Cambodian exports to the US reached $5.6 billion in the first half of 2026, representing an increase of 29.8% compared with the same period last year.
Imports from the United States also recorded significant growth, reaching $307 million, an increase of 86.4% year-on-year.
The growth in both exports and imports reflects the continued expansion of bilateral economic ties and the potential for further trade cooperation between Cambodia and the United States.
The increase in bilateral trade is also expected to contribute to Cambodia’s economic development while further strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
The Cambodian government has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting and expanding trade opportunities with the United States to support sustainable economic growth and greater prosperity.
