SIEM REAP, 5 August 2026 — Cambodia generated more than US$20.3 million in revenue from ticket sales to international visitors at the Angkor Archaeological Park during the first seven months of 2026, according to the latest report from the Angkor Enterprise.

From January to July, the UNESCO World Heritage site welcomed 428,223 international visitors, generating US$20,326,966 in ticket revenue.

Despite surpassing the US$20 million mark, revenue declined 29.03% compared with the same period last year, while the number of foreign visitors fell 30.79%, reflecting a slowdown in international tourist arrivals.

The Angkor Enterprise also reported that US$856,446 was contributed to the Kantha Bopha Cambodia Foundation during the seven-month period through the Angkor ticketing programme.

Angkor Archaeological Park remains Cambodia’s premier cultural tourism destination and one of the country’s most important sources of tourism revenue, attracting hundreds of thousands of international visitors each year.
