PHNOM PENH, 10 Aug 2026 — Cambodia exported more than $9 billion worth of goods to the United States in the first seven months of 2026, marking a 30.6% increase from the same period last year, according to data from the General Department of Customs and Excise.

Cambodia’s exports to the US were worth nearly $7 billion during the first seven months of 2025.

Meanwhile, Cambodia imported more than $376 million worth of goods from the United States during the January-July period, an increase of 87% year-on-year.

The sharp rise in exports further widened Cambodia’s trade surplus with the United States during the period.

Cambodia’s major exports to the US included garments, travel goods such as suitcases and bags, bicycles, components and other consumer products.

Imports from the US included vehicles, machinery, jewellery, cosmetics, electrical and electronic equipment, and other consumer goods.

The figures highlight the continued importance of the US market to Cambodia’s export sector, particularly for the country’s manufacturing industries.
