Cambodia’s King Congratulates To Lam on Re-election as Party Chief
PHNOM PENH, Jan 23, 2026 — Norodom Sihamoni has sent a formal letter congratulating Tô Lâm on his re-election as General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam following the party’s 14th National Congress.
In the message, the Cambodian monarch expressed confidence that Vietnam would continue to achieve strong development and maintain an influential role regionally and globally under To Lam’s leadership.
King Norodom Sihamoni also voiced hope for deeper Cambodia–Vietnam ties, reaffirming commitments to peace, stability, cooperation and shared development between the neighbouring countries.
